Opera Holland Park is proud to present Britten's haunting The Turn of the Screw, one of the most dramatically successful English operas of all time. An atmosphere of dread and lost innocence pervades this ghost story of a Governess and her two young charges at Bly House. It is also the perfect blend of Britten's lyricism and dramatic narrative music, in this production, brought to life by Steuart Bedford, one of the world's foremost Britten specialists.
This production is a major artistic step for Opera Holland Park, taking us into Britten's repertoire for the first time ever. It also provides the opportunity for audiences to see the 2014 Christine Collins Young Artists.
Ticket sales begin online on Thursday 24 April 2014.
