Handel's last English oratorio Jephtha is beautifully performed by Christophe Rousset and Les Talens Lyriques in Halle, although the drama is a bit slow off the mark. 

Revolution is not for the fainthearted in Milo Rau’s decolonized production of Mozart's opera seria for Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. 

Sam Brown's sparse production leaves nothing to focus on but the individual protagonists on stage.
