Performer: Mykhailo Malafii

Directors Martin Kukučka and Lukáš Trpišovský, who work together as SKUTR, take on Dvořák’s Rusalka with a surfeit of ideas. 

The director Edward Dick and his designer, Tom Scutt, alternate between realistic and expressionistic images in their creation of grim spectacle.

This production brought the work into the 21st century, at least visually, with a more modernised and digitally-stylised telling than their recent attempts.
