Kullervo opens the 26th Sibelius Festival in Lahti, but the new edition brings a big change: not all the music will is by Sibelius! 

Baiba Skride gripped the audience in Sibelius's Violin Concerto in the opening concert of this year's Sibelius Festival in Lahti, along with some rarities by the composer.

The Festival Director gives himself the onerous task of conducting four of the more elusive masterworks.
