Performer: Sitkovetsky Trio

A forced programme change by Hong Kong Sinfonietta proves beneficial, lightening up the evening with Mozart’s overture to Le nozze di Figaro before a pair of Beethoven works. 

The Sitkovetsky Trio impresses with fearless and passionate performances of Smetana, Tchaikovsky and Carl Vine in Sydney's City Recital Hall.

This concert was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. It was the first of the Sitkovetsky Piano Trio’s coffee-morning concerts – “Coffee Classics” – in which they gave a passion-fuelled performance of Brahms’ Piano Trio no. 2 in C major, and Smetena’s Piano Trio in G minor.
