Performer: Tan Dun

Tan Dun conducts the LPO in the UK premiere of his Buddha Passion, hyped as “without precedent in the Western concert hall”. 

Chinese composer/conductor Tan Dun presented colourful works both he and another compatriot had composed together with pieces by Stravinsky.
