Work: Partita no. 4 in D major, BWV828

For her program at Duke University’s piano series, Schaghajegh Nosrati selects a Bach partita, two sets of variations, and Alkan’s massive Symphony for solo piano. 

In Goode’s performance, Beethoven’s sonata appeared equidistant from the music of Bach and Schumann that preceded and followed it in the programme.
