Work: Piano Trio in G major

It's been nearly two years since Daniel Müller-Schott, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and Anna Vinnitskaya last played together, and it sounded like it in an uneven programme of Debussy, Tchaikovsky and Brahms.

Intrepid chamber musicians braved wild weather to deliver a stirring performance of Schubert's String Quintet in C major, alongside early works from Prokofiev and Debussy.

As part of the Philharmonia's City of Light series, the Gould Trio performed two Impressionist Piano Trios around two contrasting French Duos.
