Work: Symphony no. 2 in C minor, Op.29

Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto turns out to be a shipwreck for the Georgian pianist, despite an admirable Orchestre de Paris and conductor (Kirill Karabits). 

Once more Kirill Karabits turned eastwards for inspiration and delivered persuasive renditions of two seldom heard works prefaced by a startlingly new work of arresting sonorities.
