Following the success of last year’s concert, Liverpool Cathedral and City Organist Ian Tracey returns this Christmas with another selection box of irresistible festive treats. Expect Bach’s evergreen ‘Wachet auf’ followed by a spectacular showpiece by a composer who inspired the young Bach, sublime music from Berlioz and Balbastre, a piece that pays homage to an ancient carol and a fabulously tinselled medley of American Christmas songs.
