Step into the baroque splendour of St Mary Le Strand, one of London’s most exquisite historic churches, this candlelit setting offers the perfect backdrop for an evening of classical elegance and inspiration.
Enjoy a stunning performance of two of Mozart’s most enduring masterpieces, brought to life by the renowned Piccadilly Sinfonietta, with violinist Julian Fish and clarinettist Sarah Williamson—two leading virtuosi of the UK classical stage.
The evening begins with the Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major, K.218, a radiant work brimming with grace, brilliance, and playful energy. This is followed by the Clarinet Concerto in A major, K.622—Mozart’s final instrumental work and one of the most heartfelt, lyrical pieces ever written for the instrument.
Under the artistic direction of concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith, the Piccadilly Sinfonietta performs more than 200 concerts a year and is celebrated for its vibrant interpretations of baroque, classical, and early romantic repertoire.
