The final concert of the A subscription series will feature Ludwig van Beethoven’s last completed symphony, conducted by Semyon Bychkov. A reason to rejoice. To the Ode to Joy. According to the chief conductor of the Czech Philharmonic, we are, in fact, perfectly suited to appreciating the music of this composer—whose 200th death anniversary will be in 2027—thanks to the clarity of his musical language.
