Experience Handel's Christmas classic in a way you won’t often hear it. The Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century presents Messiah in the arrangement by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In this version, the famous masterpiece gets an extra dose of drama and a bigger orchestra with instruments that weren’t around in Handel’s day. You will hear Handel, but it is also quintessential Mozart, played in the Classical style that is central to this orchestra’s repertoire.
The Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century is teaming up with Hamburg’s acclaimed NDR Vokalensemble, under the baton of Dutch conductor Klaas Stok. It’s a rare treat for Dutch audiences, as this choir seldom visits the Netherlands. Featuring a lineup of top-tier international soloists, this festive Christmas concert will be both familiar and delightfully surprising.
Tickets: € 12,50 – € 59,00
