The Martin String Quartet was founded in 2023 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Alongside its focus on the canonical string quartet repertoire, the Martin String Quartet takes a keen interest in contemporary works. In this programme, they invite the audience to explore the versatility of the string quartet medium. From Gubaidulina’s rugged complexity to the crystalline harmony of Bach, and from Ron’s inventive spirit to the jubilant celebrations of Beethoven.
Dutch Classical Talent is a promotional programme for talented young Dutch musicians. Laureates include Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer, Nora Fischer, the Van Baerle Trio and the Berlage Saxophone Quartet, to name but a few noteworthy names. Talent in itself is not enough to make it to the finals of Dutch Classical Talent. Participants are expected to present unique and stimulating programmes, a clear vision and a touch of boldness.
Tickets: € 6,50
