Songs include those by Vaughan Williams, Britten, Finzi, Parry, Gurney and Ina Boyle as well as more modern works by Judith Weir Elizabeth Maconchy and Errollyn Wallen, inspired by the poetry of Shakespeare, Hardy, Blake, Tennyson, Yeats, de la Mare and Stevenson.
