Wigmore Hall’s celebration of Schubert’s birthday, launched at lunchtime by The Erlkings, continues with the composer’s incomparable setting of two dozen songs by Wilhelm Müller. Allan Clayton brings his charismatic, viscerally-charged interpretation of Winterreise, forged onstage with Aurora Orchestra in 2024, to Wigmore Hall in company with Paul Lewis, a truly great Schubertian.
