Since taking the helm in 2018, Lahav Shani has been building a highly acclaimed Rotterdam Bruckner cycle – “superb,” according to Gramophone. He continues this series with the Fourth Symphony. From horn calls, birdsong, and images of nature, Bruckner constructs a resounding universe. An impressive creation, yet for the eternally humble composer, there was only one true creator, whom he honors in his glorious Te Deum.
