Whether playing on Mont Blanc or on the concert stage, Gautier Capuçon doesn’t shy away from taking risks. His latest coup: the world premiere of the Cello Concerto by Max Richter, one of the most important film music composers of our time (including “Hamnet” 2026). Immediately following the Paris world premiere, Capuçon will present this piece in Switzerland. The second half features Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, the “Fate Symphony”, a musical reflection of a crisis-ridden era, a struggle between a premonition of death and a thirst for life.
