Simpson returns home to lead sterling performance with the RLPO wind players

A music graduate, Glyn worked as a journalist at the BBC and for national and regional newspapers. He latterly worked a university lecturer, specialising in music and cultural journalism. He writes for Classical Music and has contributed to a range of music magazines and has broadcast on Classic FM and on BBC Radio. He has also worked as a music critic and was, for nearly two decades, music critic of the Liverpool Daily Post. He has also written music reviews and features for a range of national and regional titles. He is also active as a performer, accompanist and composer.
