A fitting farewell for Leif Ove Andsnes' Rosendal Chamber Music Festival: imaginative programming and excellent performances in an inspiring setting.

Javier Perianes beguiles and Yulianna Avdeeva surprises in Beethoven’s last two piano concertos. 

With Mahler’s arrangement of Bach orchestral suites and Shostakovich’s Tenth Symphony, this concert showcased the many ways that composers have placed musical signatures on their work.

It may have been an absolutely freezing night in Poole but the BSO treated us to a heart-warming evening of life-affirming music, world-class music-making.

The Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, led by Marek Janowski, performs Beethoven's Triple Concerto and Sixth Symphony.
