Sultry Berg and and a lithe, forceful Beethoven Nine herald an exciting new reign in Berlin.

Girl power rules: Vienna State Opera with Die Frau ohne Schatten

Evelyn Herlitzius (Nurse), Camilla Nylund (Empress), Nina Stemme (Dyer's wife) © Wiener Staatsoper | Michael Pohn

Valery Gergiev sticht mit einem konzertanten Holländer in See

Die Münchner Philharmoniker brachten Wagners Fliegenden Holländer – gegen alle Widrigkeitenin – erfolgreich zur Aufführung.

“Ridiculous and detestable?" Not on Suzuki’s guard

C minor and C major are at the centre of Masaaki Suzuki's Haydn and Beethoven programme with the Sydney Symphony.
