El concierto de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife titulado “ Bartók y el violín” presentó a la violinista holandesa Simone Lamsma y al director británico Alexander Shelley en un programa con obras de Stravinsky, Bartók y Ravel.

Simone Lamsma is the soloist in Britten’s Violin Concerto, holding the Proms audience in the palm of her hands.

The Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM), conductor Rafael Payare, and violin soloist Simone Lamsma joined forces in a program that featured seminal works by two musical titans who settled in the United States after fleeing Europe in the mid-twentieth century.

In a programme very much rooted in the spirit dance, Britten’s Violin Concerto shines through in Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall.
