Live, Video: Find classical music concert, opera, ballet and dance reviews | Louisa Proske

The American baritone delivers a career-defining performance of the title role in Louisa Proske’s post-apocalyptic setting of Verdi’s first Shakespearean opera, which opens the company’s new season.

At the center of this production is the centuries-old verse of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, the wondrous voice of Magos Herrera and a richly realized telling of the quest for knowledge.
