Violinist Joshua Bell—“one of the most imaginative, technically gifted and altogether extraordinary violinists of our time” (The Washington Post)—leads the world-renowned, conductor-less chamber ensemble Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. Among other works, the program features Robert Schumann’s First Symphony, “Spring,” a timely selection that heralds the season’s awakening.
