Followed by beauty, clarity and timeless grace in the first really great piano concerto by Mozart, featuring the exciting young pianist, Lise de la Salle.

From darkness a lone trumpet call summons forth Mahler’s stormy Fifth Symphony, journeying from the tragic despair of the first movement to the triumphant finale via a heart-wrenching Adagietto movement scored for strings and harp.
