Beethoven’s Violin Concerto – performed by Nikolaj Znaider – opens the second of the Dresden orchestra’s Proms. In the second half, Reger’s Variations on a Theme by Mozart is paired with Strauss’s tone poem Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche.
