L'art du duo est à l'honneur au Théâtre des Champs-Élysées dans le cadre de TranscenDanses, avec des pièces courtes mais intenses de Mats Ek, Samantha Lynch, Akram Khan et Sharon Eyal.

Sharon Eyal inaugure la soirée avec la re-création d’OCD Love, puis l’Opéra de Paris rend hommage à l’inénarrable chorégraphe Mats Ek, qui fête ses 80 ans cette année, avec la reprise d’Appartement.

Figure emblématique de la chorégraphie contemporaine suédoise, Mats Ek est de retour à l’Opéra de Paris, quatre ans après l’annonce de son retrait de la scène artistique. Avec son ballet Carmen et deux nouvelles créations.

Il y a cent ans, naissait le cinéaste suédois Ingmar Bergman. A l’occasion de ce centenaire, le chorégraphe Mats Ek et les étoiles montantes de la chorégraphie suédoise Alexander Ekman et Johan Inger, rendent hommage à cet artiste à l’âme libre, pionnier du septième art et grand amateur de danse.

Dirigée depuis 2011 par le danseur et chorégraphe José Martinez, la Compagnie Nationale de Danse d’Espagne se produit cet hiver au Théâtre des Champs Elysées. Un triptyque d’œuvres haut en intensité qui nous donne l’occasion de découvrir un répertoire créatif et des interprètes d’une grande maîtrise.
