Damiano Michieletto’s 2011 staging of Mozart’s Così fan tutte, dubbed the "Camping Così", is one of the most enduring and entertaining productions in NNTT’s repertory. 

The 2023–24 season at the New National Theatre, Tokyo, opens with straightforward stagings of an unusual double bill of Suor Angelica and L’Enfant et les sortilèges.

Kazushi Ono brings his ties with cutting-edge directors to bear on the new season of opera, while National Ballet of Japan feature a strong programme.
