Oeuvre: Nocturne no. 3 en si majeur, Op.9 no. 3

A highly memorable all-Chopin evening from Ingrid Fliter, with great physicality, fire and expression.

Delicate Mozart from Maria João Pires makes up for an aggressive Bruckner 4 from the LSO and Daniel Harding. 

It was during this second half of the concert that concert-goers were rewarded with Mr Kissin’s inimitable technique, a full range in sounds filling the hall, and of course that element of uexpectedness that draws such large crowds year after year.
