Two stimulating world premieres from Dwight Rhoden and Jenn Freeman, plus outstanding dancing, as always, from the powerful dancers of Complexions Contemporary Ballet at the Joyce Theater. 

George Balanchine’s short-but-thrilling ballet Allegro Brillante is tailor-made to Mayara Piniero’s talents in Philadelphia. 

Most of the pieces were choreographed at a similarly demanding level, with speed, precision and immaculate timing as necessities.
