Andrés Orozco-Estrada and the Filarmonica della Scalla boldly go into the Romantic repertoire, with mixed results.

The soprano is lifted to lyrical heights by the Filarmonia della Scala and Andrés Orozco-Estrada at the open air Wolkenturm on the final night of the festival. 

With an initial contract set from 2026 until 2030 – when the conductor will be 77 – the appointment represents the culmination of a relationship lasting more than three decades.
