This is an important event that brings out both the regular opera-goers and Carmen lovers, and those curious enough to buy a ticket to see the company’s latest creation.

L'opéra de Ravel remporte son match face au ballet de Stravinsky Pulcinella, plutôt décevant, alors que l'inénarrable Stéphanie d'Oustrac remporte un triomphe dans le rôle de Concepción.

Le grand opéra de Meyerbeer est défendu vaillamment par une solide distribution et un bel orchestre. Dommage que la mise en scène allie le statisme à une économie de moyens confinant au ridicule.
