National Ballet of Japan’s Raymonda is a gem in the repertoire, despite shortcomings in the plot. Lavish production designs, stunning classical choreography and excellent dancers makes this a ballet lover's heaven.

Celebrating Alessandra Ferri's 40-year association with The Royal Ballet by reviving Maurice Béjart's L'Heure exquise, a rarely-seen work by one of Europe's great 20th-century choreographers. 

Asami Maki's Raymonda returns to stage after 12 years, and the result was glorious, with excellent interpretation by Yui Yonezawa, Yudai Fukuoka and Masahiro Nakaya.
