Performer: Serge Lifar

National Ballet of Canada adds three new works to its repertoire with cutting-edge pieces by William Yong and Emma Portner as well as Serge Lifar's early 20th-century paean to classicism.

Two years after the death of Patrick Dupond, the Paris Opera Ballet paid tribute to him in a sumptuous gala evening, with the procession of the Ballet’s stars and the the performance of three of Dupond’s most emblematic works.

Ivan Putrov, who has enjoyed a long career based in London, brings dancers from his homeland for a special London gala.
