The Austrian conductor's loudest fortes and softest pianos pull together a dramatic arc from the Requiem, other Mozart works and chant. But it's not really a funeral. 

The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic and Hungarian National Choir give a searing account of Mozart’s Requiem, superbly guided by conductor Carlo Tenan. 

Embraced by Daniel Harding, Ian Bostridge, Christian Tetzlaff, Alban Gerhardt and Paul Lewis, the Parisian ensemble gives an exceptional concert, faithful to Lars Vogt’s way of making music.
