This portrait concert of the well-loved Czech horn player Radek Baborák, devised for Suntory Hall's Chamber Music Garden, was part solo recital, part ensemble concert.

This splendid programme rightly attracted a fair sized audience to this fine church on this beautiful evening. Starting with Zadok the Priest, the best known of the four coronation anthems by Handel, the choir, although numbering under 20 voices, produced an initial impact which was to set the tone for the rest of the concert.

Très belle matinée autour du cor, dans un programme « melting-pot » assurant la découverte, l'humour et la muscialité d'un instrument peu entendu dans une configuration de quatuor.
