Imagine Paris, a century ago. You certainly wouldn't expect to see the Eiffel Tower soaring over a city frozen in time. A hundred years ago, it really happened... but only in one film: Paris Qui Dort , the unsettling debut of one of the greatest geniuses of French cinema, René Clair. Starting with a science fiction inspiration, Clair took the liberty of transforming Paris into a dreamlike stage, blending comedy, surrealism, and social commentary.

In this cine-concert, silent images will dialogue with the piano repertoire of French Romanticism, creating a new experience yet firmly rooted in history, at the service of a cinematic classic... literally "timeless"!
