A man. A woman. A breakup. Two paths that cross and part again and again. And yet: “The Best Is Yet to Come.” Inspired by Nina Simone and Frank Sinatra, director Ivo Van Hove explores the quest for a free society and the enduring relevance of the American Dream. Set in the small town of Watertown, the production examines freedom, tolerance, and the future of America. The collaboration between actor Mark Waschke and musical star Aisata Blackman creates a musical theater evening that blends pop, politics, and powerful emotion.
