Music has always been part of daily life for the Kanneh-Mason siblings. As performers, the Kanneh-Masons have demolished so many of the cultural barriers that stand between classical music and countless listeners who feel excluded from it. They have captured audience hearts, whether as solo performers or as one of the most remarkable sibling ensembles of all time. Wigmore Hall trains the spotlight on four of the family this Season, with concerts featuring Sheku, Jeneba, Braimah and Isata.

Wigmore Hall’s season-long focus on the fabulous family begins with a recital from one of its youngest members. Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, born in 1994 and holder of the Victoria Robey Scholarship at the Royal College of Music, embraces two cornerstones of the keyboard repertoire before turning to the evocative impressions conjured by William Grant Still’s Summerland and Fantasie Nègre No. 1 by Florence Price.
