Enjoy authentic Viennese charm right here in Taiwan! The Taiwan Philharmonic (NSO) has meticulously planned a festive concert filled with celebratory music. This year, they are pleased to invite Austrian conductor Martin Sieghart, renowned for his interpretations of the works of the Johann Strauss family. In addition to bringing classic waltzes, Sieghart will also select several fun and lively polkas and mazurkas, including pieces that depict morning news (Morgenblätter), ticking clocks (TikTak Polka), and hunting scenes (Auf der Jagd), showcasing the humorous portrayals of 19th-century Viennese music.
Soprano Nathalie Peña-Comas, praised for her passionate and beautiful voice, will perform alongside the orchestra, presenting classic arias by Dvořák and Mozart, as well as selections from operettas by Lehár and Torroba.
At the end of 2025, we invite all music lovers to join the Taiwan Philharmonic (NSO) in celebrating the arrival of 2026 with a grand musical feast!
