With The Scotsman praising her ‘effortless musicality’, Scottish superstar Nicola’s an artist at the absolute top of her game. Her performance of Elgar’s Violin Concerto will make a gloriously passionate opening before Peter Oundjian and a supersized RSNO blast the roof off in Stravinsky’s revolutionary ballet. The brilliant young British composer Gavin Higgins lights the touch paper.
