The Munich Philharmonic is coming to Amsterdam under the baton of its brand-new chief conductor, Lahav Shani. They will perform Mahler’s beloved First Symphony. Violinist Vilde Frang will perform as soloist in Shostakovich’s dramatic First Violin Concerto. It is a work with which she also made a strong impression two years ago as a soloist with the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Unfortunately, Janine Jansen has had to cancel her performance at this concert. She will be replaced by Vilde Frang, the program remains unchanged. Ticket buyers have been informed by email.
