Located directly opposite the Church of St. Nicholas in Mala Strana, within the historic Liechtenstein Palace—home to the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts (HAMU)—you will be transported into a magical, festive world for just two nights this December.
Christmas Lamplight Concert reimagines classical song in a completely new light—as a captivating evening experience set amid a warm landscape of bespoke lamps and dynamic lighting created by Neil Darcy (The Prop Making Company) and Offie-nominated lighting designer Peter Small. Amid the holiday hustle and a world dominated by screens and algorithms, Lamplight offers an intimate, magical, and soothing atmosphere where live music meets an immersive art installation.
At the heart of the performance is Duo Atlantis—American mezzo-soprano Rachel Payne and British pianist Jack Tyndale-Biscoe. Over the course of a one-hour live performance, they will take the audience on a mesmerizing journey through love, loss, and festive light.
