Drawing from her extensive career as a singer, Stutzmann is uniquely suited to lead this work of grandeur and mystery. The concert also features the popular 1851 revision of Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 4, a work of grand Romanticism notably weightier than its original orchestration.
