Andreas Gergen inszeniert den neuen Fidelio am Salzburger Landesthater zappenduster und verzichtet dabei weitgehend auf Requisiten. Gesanglich sieht es schon heller aus und besonders Franz Supper als Florestan kann in dieser Inszenierung stimmlich strahlen.

Das Landestheater präsentiert das Rezept für frischen Wind im Musiktheater: Man nehme vier junge Gesangstalente, stelle stecke in eine Bühnen-WG und gebe ihnen Opernfragmente Franz Schuberts; heraus kommt Schubertstraße 200, eine neue und erfrischende Produktion des Opernstudios Gerard Mortier.

Mit viel physischer wie stimmlicher Gewalt startet die neue Inszenierung im Landestheater. Neben Mord und Totschlag beherrschen Ivan Inverardi und Eri Nakamura die Bühne, Adrian Kelly präsentiert das Mozarteumorchester in bestem Licht, das auch die düstere Inszenierung nicht dimmt.
