Le 5 janvier 2016, Pierre Boulez est mort, à l’âge de 90 ans. Trois semaines après, la Philharmonie de Paris lui consacrait une soirée hommage, conçue avec l’Ensemble Intercontemporain, l’IRCAM (tous deux fondés par Pierre Boulez),  l’Orchestre de Paris, et le Conservatoire de Paris.
