If I wrote that I loved Philippe Boesmans' Pinocchio, my nose may grow a little. The 81-year old composer in collaboration with Joël Pommerat, shifts the tale far away from any cutesy Disney fantasy, returning it to the harsh reality of Carlo Collodi's original fable.

En février 2015, c’est un opéra de Philippe Boesmans qui est créé à l'Opéra Comique après l’avoir été en 2014 à La Monnaie de Bruxelles : Au monde. Du très grand art, fondé sur le théâtre d’une étrangeté captivante de Joël Pommerat.
