The flourishing partnership between Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra continues to be vital in both senses of the word. 

Xian Zhang brought out the beauty of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s engaging sound and soprano Fatma Said gracefully beguiled us with Strauss.

A majestic Mahler 4 from the Philharmonia under Lahav Shani, crowned by Chen Reiss’ wide-eyed rendition of Das himmlische Leben. 

A strangely mixed programme, in which soprano Elizabeth Watts and Kyra Humphreys directing Royal Northern Sinfonia displayed great musicanship and a tremendous range of emotion.

Schöne Momente, aber auch einige Längen, bietet das 8. Orchesterkonzert im Stefaniensaal mit den Grazer Philharmoniker.
