Bartók's music is in many ways rooted in traditional Hungarian music, even though it has its own unique tonal language.
This is also evident in his Third Piano Concerto, which, despite being written when the composer was suffering from leukemia, has a light and dance-like character.
Bruckner's Fourth Symphony is often referred to as the Romantic Symphony.
There is good reason for this name, especially when listening to the opening, where the French horns seem to herald the dawn and the beginning of a new day.
