Iceland Symphony Orchestra in Hamburg

The Iceland Symphony Orchestra embarks on a concert tour in Europe in March 2026, with six concerts under the baton of its chief conductor, Eva Ollikainen. Renowned cellist Kian Soltani will accompany the orchestra on its tour.

ARCHORA, a new piece by Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, will be performed in all concerts of the tour. Other works to be performed are Elgar and Lutosławski‘s Cello Concertos, Stravinsky's Firebird and Sibelius' Symphony no. 2.

The halls in which the ISO will perform are among the foremost in Europe, among them are Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Tonhalle in Zurich, Victoria Hall in Geneva and Palau de la musica in Barcelona.
